Ajang Academy Awards ataupun Oscar menjadi ajang penghargaan tertinggi bagi insan perfilman dunia. Tahun ini sejumlah film dan sineas atau filmmaker yang bersaing pada kompetisi penghargaan ini sudah diumumkan.
Nominasi Academy Awards atau Oscar mencakup film-film yang rilis di sepanjang tahun 2020. Mengingat kondisi dan situasi pandemi, film-film yang meresap dan bersaing tahun tersebut hadir dari sejumlah layanan streaming.
